Eli Aronov was born in Arad, Israel in 1996, he started his Martial Arts career in Judo at the young age of 6. After six years of learning Jodo, Eli made his first MMA transition to Greco-Roman wrestling. Eli went on to capture his first Greco-Roman wrestling national championship at the age of 13. Eli held the Israeli national championship for 6 straight years until the age of 19 when he joined the Israeli Army. His military service lasted for 3 years in the Golani 51 Infantry Brigade as both a soldier and an infantry commander. In the course of his last military year of service, Eli was placed on his professional MMA path by his older MMA fighting brother, Rafael “The Cop” Aronov, both brothers have been training at Spirit MMA until today. After immersing himself into the professional world of combat sports (MMA) Eli won his first professional fight 4 months after finishing his military service. Eli received his Brown Belt in Luta Livre (Brazilian Submission Wrestling) and also received his purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). Eli has been working his whole life in order to achieve one goal, which is to fight for the world’s most dominant Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) production, the UFC. He recently fought and beat the Undisputed Super Middleweight Champion in a non-title fight which raised his winning streak to 6-0-0. Now has his eyes set on a UFC contract.
